The Rag and Bone vintage clothing shop opened for business in State College, Pennsylvania in August of 1995. For 17 years we sold vintage clothing and accessories, dating from the 1940s to the 1980s, out of our brick and mortar shop. As of December 2012, we made the decision to close the shop in State College to sell exclusively online through our Etsy shop.

Each item in our online shop is carefully handpicked by founder and owner, Shelley Banker. Great care is taken to clean each piece and make repairs when needed. We pride ourselves in stocking the shop with unique and affordable items in excellent condition.

At the Rag and Bone, we believe shopping for vintage should be a fun experience. It’s exciting to discover a truly one-of-a-kind piece at a reasonable price and give it renewed life. Wearing vintage is a great way to add character to an outfit, be unique, recycle and have fun with your look.

If you are in downtown State College, we are still keeping a local presence by holding monthly trunk shows at Webster’s Bookstore and Cafe. You can find us there the first Saturday of the month with a great selection of vintage from our latest collection.
